Just over a week ago, UFC head honcho Dana White insisted that “the show must go on”, despite the fact that every other sport in the world had been cancelled or postponed. But as the coronavirus pandemic worsens, the UFC has officially postponed their next three events, which were supposed to take place in London, Columbus and Portland.
But White insists that UFC 249, Khabib vs. Tony Ferguson WILL HAPPEN, but possibly at a new location outside of the United States instead of in Brooklyn. At this point, it looks like this fight is cursed, having been called off 4 times already in the past.
While I’m eager to see these two face off finally, I think it’s time he admits defeat and postpones the fight until the COVID-19 threat is behind us. I guess time will tell.
What do you think, should they proceed with UFC 249 or reschedule it already?
